Graphic Design & Digital Art

Over the years I have worked on many different Graphic Design projects, both for my education and, in more recent years, for my Technical Illustration job. I also work on personal Digital Art and Graphic Design projects in my spare time.

Drawing of an original character for a table top role playing game, Mutant Year Zero.

Working at Honeywell Intelligrated

For my current job I work as a Technical Illustrator. Unfortunately, due to the nature of my work, most of what I have accomplished is proprietary information and can’t be shared. However, I can say that I typically work with Solidworks and Solidworks Composer to design illustrations of complex technical models. After saving images of these models I will then use photoshop and illustrator to add necessary technical information. While creating technical illustrations is my main job, I have also worked on training videos (using Adobe Audition and Adobe Premier), magnets/pvc informational graphics for Amazon, Informational Electrical magnets for Home Depot, and internal electrical and mechanical flip-books. Recently I have also been working on redesigning the UI of training modules and have been using my skills to make graphics for marketing PowerPoints and site specific safety posters.

Mutant Year Zero

One of the many Table Top RPG's I have played is Mutant Year Zero. My boyfriend ran the game and after reading the rules asked me to create some resources for when we played. I created a map of Montreal, a map of the Ark (Baseball Stadium turned community shelter) and a reference sheet for in-game combat. The last image included is a drawing of my character from the game, Finn.

Finn

My character for this campaign. I love drawing the characters I play as for campaigns and overall this drawing really captures Finn well. She was a laid back mechanic who had the mutation to let glow.

Post Apocolyptic Montreal Map

I took an actual screen shot of Montreal and edited it to look like the style of map that can be found in the core rule book for this game. We wanted to include a grid system on the map so that when playing we could easily find where we were. As we played we hand drew elements onto the map and made it more complete.

The Ark

Our home base, literally. The colony of survivors for this game made their home in an abandoned baseball stadium. There were tons of shelters and even some gardens on the green where the community lived. I used the Dodger Stadium as a base and drew off of it from there to get the design I wanted.

Combat Cheat Sheet

There were a lot of great resources for this game but one we were unable to find was a cheat sheet for combat, so I made one. I created the page to mimic the style of the book but put my own spin on it and made a chart to help everyone see what happens during combat.

Old School Essentials

Recently we played a pre-made dungeon called Tomb of the Serpent King and used the Old School Essential Rules. I thought the setting was so interesting that I created a journal that my characters would write as they went through the dungeon.

Name Page

If anyone knows anything about this game then they know character deaths are common. I had a character die in the first session and so for the rest of the game I played as Ali, hence why the top name is crossed out.

Offworlders

The newest game my group and I have played. This is a SyFy game that inspired me to get creative and make a whole UI prototype that we could use during the sessions.

Star System part 1

Just 2 of the systems we interact with while playing the game both the Mot and Halvani systems. I wish I could show it but I made the planets spin around the suns like they actually would on a real map.

Anya

I drew my character for this game too. She's a little different than my previous character but again I feel like I was able to capture the style I was going for. She is a young mechanic who loves to build things and even build a robot, Ches, to help her and interact with people for her because she likes to stay out of the limelight.
